I was excited to see that already with less than a month on this diet my blood sugar and cholesterol had both improved a lot. See the table below for the details. Down nineteen pounds and blood work improved, things were looking up already and month two was just beginning.

As you can see from the summary sheet below I was able to be a lot more active in March, and the exercise is beginning to show in faster walking and in pounds exercised away. And by picture day on April 1st I had lost an additional pound and a half and was down a total of 41.5 pounds in less than two months. And feeling better than I had felt in years.

But the best day was Easter Sunday, I had been growing my hair for two  and a half years to donate to Lock's of Love and it was finally long enough. And with the 40 pounds I had lost I was able to squeeze into a suit that I had not worn since 1994. So I went to church on Easter Sunday in a white shirt, tie and suit for the first time in years. And people who I had known for 4 years came up to introduce themselves because they did not recognize me.  It was a great boost to my ego and my morale.
