This was the month I started really exploring pre-maintenance. And it looks like I maybe overdid  it a bit. But I am building lots of muscle. At the first of February I was  bench pressing 150 pounds and by the end of March I was up to 180 pounds.  And I'm doing lots of chin-ups and sit-ups and I've now passed the 4,000 mile mark with my walking.

On the last day of March I retired my then current pair of tennis shoes with a total of 2,281.7 miles on them. I started wearing them on the 5th of October and declared them dead on March 31st.

So I gained  6 pounds and gained 1.75 inches. But most of the gain was places I expected  to gain with my exercise program and I choose to believe that most of the  weight gain is muscle.
